‘twas filling my wicked awesome new mp3 player ($5 at the Goodwill!) with stuff I had enjoyed in previous lives and stumbled across this tune.
Some famous scientist or blogger or something probably did some research that stated certain songs can stimulate the memoryorial parts of the noggin. Welp, one listen and my brain asploded.
A few dozen replays and it’s still happening.
Reminds me of spending way too much money on blacklight posters and ripping bongloads in the RA’s bathroom. Thinking that learning to play the bass would be a great way to meet chicks and Beavis & Butthead probably is the pinnacle of comedy. That the retarded bucket hat made me look cool.
It reminds me of a time when we didn’t know Billy Corgan was a giant douche, although we probably should have seen that coming based on this video.
But mostly, it makes me remember a time when I filled with the knowledge that people, in general, are magical and awesome.
It’s a feeling that rarely makes its return these days, and when it does, life does that quaint little fuck-off routine.
So yeah, i’ll be riding this wave for another day or two, at least until I finish downloading the new Ke$ha cuts.
{edit} Check out this link to hear a live acoustic version of Rocket. Still can’t figure out what the fuck he is singing.
